Situation
A larger Danish retail chain located in different areas in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Poland has a dialy need to provide its shops with administrative forms. These forms were previously produced by different graphics suppliers and delivered to a central warehouse in Denmark and were later distributed to the shops in the respective countries. The retail chain wanted to reduce the number of suppliers and at the same time find a supplier that had the capacity to distribute and warehouse approximately 200 products.
Solution
Strålfors was selected based on our online service with effective solution for printing, logistics and distribution. The customer places the order in Strålfors' web-based marketplace, Trade-it®, and the various forms are sent out the same day. The customer also wanted the same solution for Supplies and other office articles. Approximately 40 orders per day are shipped.
Result
By choosing a single supplier the customer gets advantages such as: no warehousing, less administrative follow-up in relation to purchases and invoicing procedures, reduced transport costs, continuously updated online information including statistical reports from Trade-it® regarding all products.
