Situation
A pharmaceutical company with a focus on development wanted to launch a new package that could easily fit in a breast pocket. The product information should not be presented as a standard form but as a small booklet from 2 up to 20 pages. But at the same time, the product should be manufactured in accordance with pharmaceutical industry standards.
Solution
After a comprehensive analysis together with the customer's development engineers we submitted a proposal that met all requirements that both the customer and the packaging demanded. Strålfors' development department presented a proposal regarding both machine and control equipment. Within two months the information carrier was produced in accordance with a totally new concept in a new production line that could be presented to the market.
Result
The customer obtained a product that was tailor-made for the new packaging and ready to be introduced within the agreed upon time. By choosing this solution instead of a conventional method, the customer acheived a 20 % lower cost.
