Problem

A company uses many different types of labels, both finished labels and labels for extra printing in conjunction with production. It has several different suppliers and this often creates problems, since it is not clear who is responsible.

Our solution

Strålfors offers overall responsibility for the entire labelling process. For the company’s private brand product range, digitally printed sales labels are printed is small series. For their own brand, a solution is developed with labels, printers, ribbons, software and the control unit.

Result

• With the new solution the company can reduce its stock by 75% and release resources to other parts of its operations. This means an annual saving of SEK 60,000.
• Delivery reliability increases, because now the company always has enough labels. The lack of labels was previously a common reason for delivery delays.
• The responsibility issue has been solved, in that Strålfors now delivers the entire solution.
