The problem:
A large group that manufactures thin sheet-metal products has three factories with a comprehensive labelling system that also includes barcode labelling. The company’s technicians are responsible for maintenance and service, but they have too much to do. This leads to interference and stoppages in production.
Our solution:
Together with the company we develop a labelling solution with a label that is printed with the company’s logo. The label is then printed with a barcode and distributed to one of the company’s delivery points, where it is applied and checked with a barcode reader.
The company signs a service agreement with Strålfors. The agreement commits us to make several visits of a preventive nature to guarantee production. The call-out time for service and support is 48 hours.
Result
The company guarantees its production. The resources previously tied up as a result of a production stoppage can now be allocated to other parts of the organisation.
