13/03/2000

Benefit AB and Strålfors TradeCom Solutions AB are jointly producing a new e-commerce solution for Järniakedjan AB (an ironmongery chain) and their suppliers.

Some time ago Järniakedjan AB, which has 130 shops in Sweden, decided to intensify its IT investments. Each Järnia shop will be supplied with Benefit’s world leading shop system, developed in Java . All orders from the shops will go via the IFS AB business system. All communication between Järniakedjan and their suppliers is carried out with the help of a solution from Strålfors which integrates Internet business and efficient EDI.

“Today’s e-commerce solutions require good systems and communications. Collaboration with Strålfors regarding an EDI solution for Järniakedjan is a first step in this direction. Benefit combines one of the world’s most modern systems with sophisticated service concepts for business. Strålfors contributes with experience and expertise within the EDI field. This means that Benefit can now offer more competitive solutions for all customers within the commerce sector,” says Leif Lendrup, Managing Director for Benefit.

“Our solutions are unique in that we integrate Internet business with efficient EDI. Järniakedjan is now able to use a uniform communications system with all their suppliers.
