Stralfors has today acquired the UK based DPS Direct Mail Ltd. DPS is a fulfilment company within the Direct Marketing industry in UK and is regarded as one of the leading players in its field. It has an annual turnover of SEK 160 million with around 120 employees and is located within the London area. The acquisition is another step in Stralfors’ expansion strategy within Information Logistics.
DPS will operate as a separate legal entity under the name: DPS a member of the Stralfors Group, and will be headed by existing Managing Director, Mr. Grant Bloomfield. Purchase price, which will be paid in cash, amounts to 72 MSEK and 43 MSEK for financial net assets in DPS. The transaction is estimated to increase the Stralfors profit per share with about 0,40 SEK after a year, when expected synergy effects have been achieved.
Stralfors has had an operation in the UK since 1980. Based in Redruth, Cornwall, it focuses on delivering products and services mainly within Graphics and partly Information Logistics. The acquisition of DPS, will complement Stralfors’ current offering to include both administrative and direct marketing communication.
DPS Direct Mail Ltd. was founded in 1992 by its current Chairman of the Board, Mr. Tony Hayday. It has established an unrivalled reputation for customer orientation, innovation and technical support.
