Today Stralfors opens new production facilities for information logistics in Vantaa. Vantaa, situated next to Helsinki, is one of Finland’s fastest-growing industrial centres. The company’s investments in modern premises, new technology and the very latest in equipment make Stralfors well placed to meet the Finnish market’s future needs for information logistics. In conjunction with the official inauguration, Stralfors is also presenting its new market communication concept for direct marketing.
The new Stralfors facilities will be officially opened by Sweden’s ambassador to Finland, Eva Walder-Brundin. The Chairman of the city council of Vantaa, Mr Tapani Mäkinen, and around 250 other specially invited clients and partners will be present at the event. The move to Vantaa establishes Stralfors in a much better location, close to both mail sorting facilities and the international airport.
The new market communication concept for direct marketing builds on the principle, “the right information to the right customer”. With the help of an internally integrated system, clients can choose what they wish to communicate, how it is distributed (on paper or electronically) and to whom. The system is secure, flexible and simple to use. When the client has produced the necessary information, all the data is transmitted to Stralfors, which then takes care of all the operational details. This new system also enables clients to adapt their message to each individual recipient.
“Continuous developments in information logistics mean that our clients are asking more and more of us,” says Steinar Höistad. “It is important for us to spearhead developments. That’s why we have invested so much in new technology and new premises. At the same time, it gives us an opportunity to showcase our new concept in market communication and introduce it to our Finnish clients.”
