Stralfors has yesterday evening reached agreement on sales of Strålfors TradeCom Solutions AB to PipeChain AB. Stralfors TradeCom Solutions is supplier of systems platforms and services within the area communication, integration ((XML/EDI) and EDI-related logistics. Stralfors TradeCom Solutions AB has a turnover of MSEK 22 and 18 employees who are all included in the assignment to PipeChain AB. Taking possession is with immediate effect. Purchase price is MSEK 8, cash payment.
PipeChain AB develops systems handling the supply chain between companies. Information between customers, manufacturer and suppliers take place in real time. The software is developed by consultants in Lund, Sweden, who have a long experience of logistics. PipeChain has a turnover of MSEK 19 and 20 employees. The company is owned by MA-system and Consafe IT.
Stralfors does not consider the solutions delivered by Strålfors TradeCom Solutions AB as being strategic for Stralfors, but prioritise instead electronic solutions intended for communication from one to many. Such solutions - eBusiness Communication, e-mail, SMS-solutions and electronic payment services - are all collected in the Stralfors’ business are, Information Logistics.

The sales of Strålfors TradeCom Solutions AB results in a capital gain of about MSEK 8. As to the rest the transaction will have only a marginal effect on Stralfors’ results and financial position.
