Digital mailbox will replace the mail

PostNord launches a digital mailbox that will replace letters in Sweden. In Denmark it is mandatory to receive letters from the public authorities from the age of 15 from a digital mail box.

The idea behind, is an online digital mailbox of the traditional mail box. With a password you will get access to mail from companies and agencies. It is also possible to sign documents.
The company E-Boks, which is owned by the PostNord and Nets, has a monopoly on this service and more than 4.6 million people in Denmark are using E-Boks today. Since 2012, Norway is also using e-Boks as a solution, with the Norweigan government as one of the sender.

For PostNord e-Boks solution is important. Sweden will be e-Boks biggest market.
