Lemonsoft secures growth with efficient invoice management
The Finnish company Lemonsoft has experienced significant growth and is today among the leading SaaS providers in the country. More than 7,000 customers daily use the company's ERP solution, which handles not only finances but also a wide range of other business areas.
In line with this growth, it became crucial for Lemonsoft to ensure a stable and scalable solution for handling both inbound and outbound invoices.
– Our customers process enormous volumes of invoices in Lemonsoft – on an annual basis, it amounts to millions. Therefore, it was important for us to find a solution that could grow with us and ensure stable operations, says Tea Ekström, Product Manager for Financial Management at Lemonsoft..
Tight schedule, strong partnership
In the spring of 2024, Lemonsoft began the modernization of their invoice flow. The project had an ambitious schedule, but after only a few months, sales invoicing was put into operation. Shortly thereafter, inbound invoices followed.
– The project schedule was ambitious, but Strålfors' project management was firm and expert. Everyone knew their responsibilities, and things progressed according to plan. That was one of the reasons why the entire project was completed so efficiently, Tea Ekström says.
A key enabler was Strålfors' e² Connect API, which allowed for the efficient migration of thousands of customers. The same interface ensures that adding new customers or removing old ones can be done flexibly and automatically..
Omnichannel provides flexibility
Lemonsoft's invoice flow is built as a true omnichannel solution. The majority of sales invoices are sent as e-invoices, but print, email, and the Peppol network are also utilized. On the inbound side, e-invoices are combined with email and scanning.
For customers, this means both transparency and simplicity. All invoices can be tracked in Strålfors’ Track & Trace system, which Lemonsoft has integrated directly into their ERP solution.
– From the customer's perspective, everything is simplified. They can work as they usually do, while the invoices flow seamlessly through various channels in the background, says Ekström.
The next steps will include, among other things, the possibility of sending e-invoices to private individuals and integration with the digital mailbox Kivra.
